CLAUDE THE HYPNOTIST
It was entertainment night at the Senior Center .
Claude the hypnotist exclaimed:
'I'm here to put you into a trance; I intend to hypnotize each and every
member of the audience.'
The excitement was almost electric as Claude withdrew a beautiful antique
pocket watch from his coat.
'I want you each to keep your eye on this antique watch.
He began to swing the watch gently back and forth while quietly chanting,
Watch the watch, watch the watch, and watch the watch...'
The crowd became mesmerized as the watch swayed back and forth, light
gleaming off its polished surface.
Hundreds of pairs of eyes followed the swaying watch, until, suddenly, it
slipped from the hypnotist's fingers and fell to the floor, breaking into a
hundred pieces.
'SHIT !' said the Hypnotist.
It took three days to clean up the Senior Center ...

Of course, the intensity to which you desire to achieve any of these
life elements varies, according to your values, upbringing, and
beliefs. But in reality, this variation has more to do with the
element that is lacking in your life rather than your values.
Obviously, if you are healthy but broke you will intensify the desire
to have more abundance and money.
Or, if you have money but lack a life partner or social life, you will
focus on attracting a mate or increase your circle of friends. Perhaps
you have a great social life but don't feel too well physically or
emotionally. No doubt as to what you will be looking for. This said,
know that all these elements must be present in your life if you want
to have a balanced lifestyle. Only then you will achieve total
happiness.
Now, how can you attract what you are lacking, so that you too can be
totally happy? This is tricky for, according to the Law of Attraction,
what we focus on becomes reality. By that, I mean that, if you lack
romance in life, you will probably be focusing on this lack and
working desperately to fill it. What happens here is that, spiritually
speaking, you enter in a vicious circle that will required great
concentration and work on your part to get out of.... ...

claim that subliminal influence consists at best of uselessly weak
effects, exaggerated by alarmists or profiteers.

Article on Stage Hypnosis
*************************
WHY IS STAGE HYPNOSIS IMPORTANT TO CLINICAL HYPNOSIS?
by Jerry Valley, M.A.C.P.
My office in Methuen, Massachusetts is busy as a result of several
sources. One, of course, is from referrals of satisfied clients. The
second source is from the "Yellow Pages." It seems that if you are in
the "Yellow Pages," the general public assumes two things: 1. You are
good at what you do. 2. That you are ethical and reliable. Then
