I don't think it could. To make a dent in world population, one would
have to hit at least 2.5 persons a second, 24 hours a day.

What if you gave special attention to doctors, epidemiologists, drug
manufacturing plant workers, and engineers who work at nuclear power
stations and water and sewage treatment plants?

It is easier than that. All you would have to do is hit one
person hard enough to create a dent.
