Is this newsgroup dead? I can only seem to find one thread from after
June 24. This is very surprising. Did the rapture happen to the
moderators of AHBOU and nobody told us? Did they all die
simultaneously at the company picnic? Is there nothing funny left to
submit in the usenet field anymore?

It's resting.

No, it's not. It's passed on. It is no more. It has ceased
to be. It's expired and gone to meet it's maker. It's a
stiff. Bereft of life, it rests in peace. Pushing up the
daisies. Off the twig. Kicked the bucket, run down the
curtain and joined the choir invisible.
This is an EX-NEWSGROUP!

If you've got to risk the fabric of the universe by posting an ahbou.d
post to ahbou, at least let it be a funny one, not another bloody
recycling of the dead parrot sketch...

And don't forget Rule Four, now this term, I don't want to catch anybody
not drinking.

The safest thing to do is to include all of the headers. The mods will
remove what's not needed.

Yep. In addition, please remember to send your submissions to the
address in the footer (@ mit.edu), not the old one in the FAQ, which no
longer works. :-/
