I am getting back into home tracks (bidding on some scalextric /SCX track on
ebay. But need to know-- what is the difference between Classic track and
Sport Track? I have seen that there are joiners for them available. The
scalextric that I have at home are probably 30+ years old, so I think that
would have to be classic.
I am also interested in a few newer cars.
Also, from my readings long ago I remember that some cars do not go so well
on certain tracks because of the length of guide used. What would be the
best cars for scalextric track. (I assume that scalextric will work well,
but what others???) Any recommendations/ suggestions greatly appreciated.

My son and I are looking for information to get us starting in slot car
racing. There's a track near by and we want to have fun but we don't want
cars that don't perform. I was thinking about spending around $200 for the
both of us and we would need the works. I think we want a cars already
