One funny notion: there is a big difference on about who people tell
musician jokes about between here and at least the U.S. it seems. In
the states side it seems drummers are always joked about, while
bassists seem to enjoy almost the same respect as guitarists.

Now I don't want to or try to make bassists angry, I just think they
seem to be the underdogs in most any band situations.

Here we never talk about drummers, and good drummers are usually very
very well respected; there are even bands the drummer is the leader
and the rest are just players. I think people might know almost as
many drummers by name as they do singers or guitarists. People
practically fight over good drummers - I mean, guitarists are dime a
dozen but try to find a really good drummer and you'll be searching
for years.

Just uploaded our latest youth praise band live performance; it's a
cover of a ballad from another cool band on Soundclick called

My youngest daughter is the first of the two vocal soloists, and her
friend does verse 2; I've got a couple of young kids doing the guitar
solo on the sax instead, and I also let my piano player do a little
run as well (the kid's got a phenomenal ear, he can play almost
anything you throw at him; makes my job easier).

Anyone know how deal with cover song uploads on Soundclick? Do you
have to get a license or do you just acknowledge it's a cover song and

I stumbled across this link, and checked out the Eric Johnson
demo of this amp. He is using them for warm up and practice
amps on the road.
Anyway....Dang.... The tone is pretty freakin close to what he
gets on his big rig. And I'm not even sure if the amp finals are
tube or S/S... It may be totally S/S being I see no mention of
tubes anywhere..
Whatever it is, he makes that puppy sing, and it's dang close
to his usual tones. I have to wonder if he is using any FX pedals
before the amp.. maybe not though, being it has all that mess
built in..
Not bad for a fairly cheap $370 amp..
