Warning about Sam Ash's Return Policy

Author: Rootworker
Date: Jan 7, 2008 09:07

Thought I'd pass my experience along as a warning to others.

Last week I ordered a Yamaha GO46 audio interface from Sam Ash. In the past
I've dealt with Musician's Friend, ZZounds, and SameDay Music, and never had
any cause to complain. This time I went to Sam Ash only because they were
the only ones who had the item I wanted in stock.

When I received the item, I discovered that it has been misreprepresented.
In particular, it is advertised as being a 4-in/6-out unit, when in fact, it
only supports recording on 2 simultaneous channels. Today I contacted Sam
Ash, and they flatly refused to take it back.

If this is the way they do business, I will certainly never buy as much as a
guitar pick from them in the future. I think others will be well advised to
keep their return policy in mind before buying anything from a company with
such shoddy customer suppor.

we as a society are going to suffer greatly. it's a very slippery slope when
you let narrow-minded, self-serving, and love-to-pat-myself-on-the-back
politicians get away with stupid shit like this.

but then again, Illinois is home to Chicago, where they have outlawed foie
gras in reataruants as well.

it's your own collective fault for electing boobs.

I have had 2 teachers, one did 45 minute lessons and one was an hour.
I personally prefer the hour as I always felt I was just warming up
by the end of the 45 minute lesson.

My teacher did say though that children do not have the attention span for
an hour
