Raymond Ronald Karczewski was admitted as an inpatient at Salem State
Hospital on Thursday, May 22, 2008 following a suicide attempt.
Karczewski apparently attempted to overdose by ingesting sleeping
pills but called 911 in a panic after beginning to feel the effect of
the medication. He was placed in Salem State Hospital under suicide
watch for 72 hours, transferred to an observation ward for a 72 hours,
then released to return to his home.

It is unconfirmed, however, it is suspected that Karczewski's suicide
attempt was due to the progression of depression which manifested
itself when his former wife, Anita Graves Karczewski passed away due
to respiratory failure. She suffered from Chronic Obstructive
Pulmonary Disease (COPD) for many years which was compounded by
smoking and alcohol use.

Raymond apparently blamed himself for contributing to her death, he
operated a woodstove in their rural rental for many years which
directly impacted her COPD.

Since there is no mention of "gay marriage" in the U.S. Constitution
laws concerning this issue divert back to the individual states and
the state's constitution. Of course, I know you right-wingers don't
like this but if a law does not follow a state's constitution or laws
that state's supreme court may strike down the law until such law is
passed at the federal level.

Arum blames Bush for slow sales

Bob Arum, the Hall of Fame boxing promoter, will have none of the
suggestion that ticket sales for middleweight champion Kelly Pavlik's
first title defense are slow because he's facing a weak opponent, Gary
Lockett, who is unknown in the U.S.

Arum said that not as many of Pavlik's fanatical followers from
Youngstown, Ohio, will make the trek to Atlantic City, N.J.'s
Boardwalk Hall for the HBO-televised bout on June 7 than did last year
for his title-winning effort over Jermain Taylor.

But Arum said that has nothing to do with Lockett's considerably lower
profile than Taylor.

"It's not all left hooks and jabs," Arum said Wednesday during a media
conference call.

Arum has a culprit he's blaming, though: President George W. Bush.

Oh, she thinks a woman should take a man's last name when marrying.
But of course she had no problem getting 'knocked up' before marriage!

Newly married Ashlee Simpson is changing her name to Ashlee Wentz in
honor of her husband, Fall Out Boy Pete Wentz.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're
marrying a man," she tells PEOPLE. "It's a tradition that I think is a
great tradition."

The singer, whose May 17 wedding featured an Alice in
Wonderland-themed reception, says that privately she'll go by Ashlee
Wentz and professionally she'll be Ashlee Simpson-Wentz.

Yeah right, or maybe they were debating whether to get an abortion
first!

Newlyweds Ashlee and Pete Wentz have confirmed that they are expecting
their first child.

"While many have speculated about this, we wanted to wait until after
the first trimester to officially confirm that we are expecting our
first child," they wrote on Wentz's site, friendsorenemies.com. "This
is truly the most joyous time in our lives and we are excited to share
the happy news and start our family."

After getting married in L.A. on May 17, the couple honeymooned in
Turks and Caicos.

The bride, who has changed her name to Ashlee Wentz but will go by
Ashlee Simpson-Wentz professionally, told PEOPLE after the wedding, "I
would love to have a big family one day."

have called it quits, PEOPLE.com reports.

The couple had been dating for a year before the relationship ended.

A source tells In Touch, "George is relieved to be single again. He
thinks Sarah is sweet and that is why it was so hard to break up with
her. The truth is that they had little in common and he just doesn't
want to be tied down."

Clooney's rep refused to confirm the reports, saying, "We do not

LOS ANGELES - Ashlee Simpson is so over. The newlywed pop singer will
go by Ashlee Wentz in private, and be professionally known as Ashlee
Simpson-Wentz, according to a report posted Wednesday on People.com.
The heretofore Simpson was married on May 17 to Fall Out Boy bassist
Pete Wentz.

"I think that that's something that a woman should do when they're
marrying a man," the pop star lil' sis of Jessica Simpson told the
magazine. "It's a tradition that I think is a great tradition."

Phone and e-mail messages left with Simpson-Wentz's publicist
regarding the name change were not immediately returned.

Simpson-Wentz, 23, and Wentz, 28, exchanged vows earlier this month at
her parents home in Encino, Calif. Joe Simpson, her father, performed
the non-denominational ceremony and sister Jessica was the maid of
honor, the magazine earlier reported.

Simpson-Wentz and Wentz began dating in fall 2006 and announced their
engagement April 9.
