We're supposedly past the summer solstice in the northern hemisphere,
which means that the angle of the setting sun should be further
south, but it is not. It is further north.

Just go outside and measure the angle of the sun at sunset.

Take a stick, put it on a piece of paper. Draw a line where the sun
casts a shadow and measure the angle between north and west.

Very, very simple.
