HI Phyllis:

Wondering if you'd gleaned my posts re Cleveland
disease maybe?

I'd just emailed Cleveland Clinic in Tennessee re
Cleveland disease during Civil War times.

And have found the "hospital" located near Tyner's
Station near Cleveland, Tennessee.

Hope your medical procedures in Toledo ends in success
- grin.

  OT-Cleveland Clinic

Author: Phyllis Nilsson
Date: May 30, 2008 18:40

Have been doing a lot of lurking lately, but haven't had much time to post.

It seems my husband may be going to Cleveland Clinic for surgery. Even
though I live in Toledo, I've never been to Cleveland and I am not looking
forward to this adventure.

He has had recent testing here, but I'm wondering if they are going to what
to repeat them (which will add to his already stressful situation). We
don't know for sure if the surgery will be possible, so I don't know how
long we will be there . . . one day for tests or weeks for surgery and
recovery. One of my concerns is finding a safe place to stay (I've been
told the clinic is not in the best of neighborhoods) for however long the
duration.

I hope someone can alleviate some of my apprehension by telling me what they
experienced. Can you tell I am really, really uncomfortable about all this?

http://www.freereg.org.uk/

Our objective is to provide free Internet searches of baptism, marriage,
and burial records, that have been transcribed from parish and
non-conformist registers of the U.K. FreeREG is a companion project to
FreeBMD (a database of the GRO birth, marriage and death indexes from
1837) and FreeCEN (a database of census information).

We are in URGENT need of volunteers willing to undertake the
transcription of registers or make available their own transcriptions.
(Follow the link to contributing to the project.
http://www.freereg.org.uk/volunteers/index.htm ) for information on how
to participate.

On Wed 28 May 2008 FreeREG users did 15,724 searches. (Details
