Friendlier than what? I can say that Emerald Dream (RP-PVP) is a lot less
obnoxious than some of the PvP realms I've sampled, and stupid names aren't
tolerated, but friendly? Not exactly...

So long as you don't run through RP events naked or do other obnoxious
things that are hard to ignore, probably not much. Being caught RP griefing
on ED means that character is shunned forever though. No guild on the
server will accept one, and most will /gkick abusers in their guild on the
first offense if there isn't an immediate apology.

Something I've noticed, but perhaps I'm wrong, is that even if I get
out of combat on my druid and restealth, if there was a player's pet
targeting me before, it does not lose me as a target, and so
restealthing appears useless.
I may be mistaken and the pet was close enough to continue seeing me,
but this has happened many times that I can remember, with hunters,
warlocks and mage pets.
I'm guessing the same would apply to a rogue, except that I'm pretty
sure vanish removes any targeting by pets. So what's the deal? It's
highly annoying, but maybe I've just been making a mistake and
restealthing while the pet is in range to see me.

Hello all
I'm a Raid Leader in a guild which has been clearing Kara for some
time, and lacked numbers to break into 25 man content. We have been
steadilly recruiting numbers to get the raiding section of the guild
upto sufficient numbers that 25 man raiding is possible. We are by no
means a hard-core raiding guild.
The other night we went to Guul's Lair and on our first run thre (5th
attempt) High King Maulgar went down. We cleared our way to Gruul and
got him to 60%% on first try and 50%% on second, then called it a night
because of respawns. Last night we went to Magtheridon and whilst we
only got Magi down to 96%% we managed to clear 4 channelers down before
the Magi released and only lacked co-ordination in the initial cube
clicking and a couple of healers. I have high hopes that we will clear
Gruul and Magtheridon quite quickly, as we have been ready for this
content for some time, just lacked numbers.
The questinon I have is this; as the raid leader I need to be prepared
and looking to the future as to where we should hit next. What is the
suggested instance / boss encounters we should look to next, and at
what point?

After futzing around with my nephew on his PvP server, and getting
thoroughly frustrated at the lack of high-level character response to
opposing faction raids, I'm back on my old RP server getting my original
character up to 70.
I've been told many times that a lower-level (58) paladin can survive
Hellfire Peninsula, yet when I tried, I kept dying. I'm up to 60 but still,
fighting things in the Outlands that are my level is still an exercise in
frustration.
What I do is I set up a target with Seal of Crusader, Judgement (for the
extra damage bonus), Seal of Righteousness for more damage output, and then
follow that up with a Crusader Strike. Wait for CD om Judgement, Judge for
Righteousness, apply Seal of Righteousness again, wait for CD on Crusader
Strike. Ad inifinitum, until whatever it is I'm fighting is dead.
I recently upgraded my gear, and the lowest thing I'm wearing/using is level
57. A lot of it is Sorceror gear, which adds to my spell damage output.
For DPS, I use a level 59 2-H axe. For sword-&-board, I'm still using the
quest rewards given at Honor Hold, because I can't find anything really
superior on AH.
