It looks like this place is pretty dead, but thought I'd give it a shot.

So I just started playing RCT 3 again after some years and I'm having two
issues with the Atari websites:

1). I try to register on the forums and I get the message, "The
Administrator has disabled registration."

2). Kind of the same problem with the track exchange site - I try to sign
up again and it just keeps reloading the registration page.

I know others are experiencing the second issue, but since I can't log in
for the first to ask questions it's rather irritating.

Does anyone know if they plan to open registration back up?

Is there a good source for help with designing tracks for RCT 1? I like
playing the game but I really lack the skills to make effective rides.
I seem to make rides that are not very exciting but would make the most
hard core coaster fan puke up everything eaten over the past week. For
the first time (I've had the game for years) I'm about to finish the
last parks in the regular version before I go on to the expansion
scenarios. (Woot, unlocking Mega Park for the first time!) But the one
of the last scenarios involves not mucking with the landscape and
frankly, this one is going to be the hardest for me. I've done almost
all the rest (I'm working on Thunder Rock) but I need some help with
Rainbow Valley and the scenarios for the expansion sets require specific
ride specs to be...

I have an old laptop with no CD-ROM drive that I want to take on
vacation. I connect a USB drive to install programs. I'm wondering if
it's possible to somehow play Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 on this machine
without a CD-ROM drive. I can install it, but it only goes as far as
the opening screen, and no further, presumably because it can't find
the CD. Any help would be appreciated.
