A lie, of course - Hypocrites only talk.
Besides, $10 won't make much difference anyhow.
I pledge $1,000 and a case of Cheese-its - The only catch is, they have
to come to pick it up.
France is kicking in with a ship full of rice, no doubt moldy, uneaten
leftovers from Diem Bien Phu.
Why not send a tanker full of cheap wine also, at least they could get
drunk and forget about the shithole they are in ... Much like frenchmen
do daily.

By Aung Hla Tun
YANGON (Reuters) - The first U.S. military aid flight landed in Myanmar
on Monday, but relief supplies continued to just dribble into the
reclusive state nine days after a devastating cyclone.

How about an article about what each able country in the world is
contributing?
What is the UN doing ?
Whichever countries are friends with the junta need to take-up the
leadership asap since so many more will suffer & die
while the absurd negotiating and sinking of food ship(s).
From the article posted by asshole Jesse you can get the impression that the
first flight with aid has reached Burma, and this was a US plane. This is of
course not true. Several flights have been arriving each day, but today was
the first US plane. Other flights has been from Europe and UN.
Red Cross reports that 200 000 people have received help so far, but this is
of course not enough.
