Today, AMD announced detailed information about the Shanghai series of
chips which will follow the design codenamed Barcelona which had a
competitive standing that was less than stellar.

In an Ars Technica article about this announcement, there was a
reference to the series of chips that would follow the one described
today, codenamed Istanbul.

But they decided to have a little chuckle, and say
Constantinople Istanbul.
