Psychiatry: An Industry of Death Documentary DVD with Booklet
published by the Citizen's Commission on Human Rights.
The DVD companion brochure contains over 150 photos and graphics that track
the history of psychiatry from it's macabre 18th century origins to today,
where 100,000 patients die each year in psychiatric institutions and 20
million children have been put on potentially lethal, mind-altering drugs.
We think you have the right to know the cold, hard facts about psychiatry,
its practitioners and the threat they pose to our children.

So, now you admit that this is from the CCHR in your post (you didn't last
time), but you still call it "facts", which is disingenuous, at best.
Can you face up to the fact that CCHR only preaches hate and doesn't offer any
help or solutions?
Why do you want to get money for a group that seems to only promote hate of
others?
And, why is it that you cannot admit that the CCHR is a front group for the cult
of scientology?
"If anyone disputes that Citizens Commission on Human Rights (CCHR) is part of
Scientology, they can look at issue #27 of International Scientology News, dated
May 2004. An article called "A Turning Point In Our History" discusses how
Scientology is moving to expand its operations, to achieve its goal of "clearing
the planet".

I believe in those parts of psychiatry that are scientifically based, and
that would include those wonderful antipsychotics that do work in many
people, except that scientists really don't understand HOW they work, at
least not yet. Unfortunately, psychiatry originated as a branch of the
pseudoscience known as psychology, and many "psychiatrists" really
practice nothing but psychology and all its egos and subconsciousnesses
and recovered false memories and all that crap.
But just like the pseudoscience of alchemy evolved into the science of
chemistry, psychiatry can make something of itself if it purges itself of
the psychobabble and crackpot theories that amount to voodoo. Someone on
another group suggesting merging psychiatry with neurology, a logical
union because the human mind is the product of the trillions of neurons
in the brain.

Well, after all, this is alt.flame.psychiatry. Luckily, it is seems to be
only observed by the fanatics and the curious. Still, much of what is said
in here is purely non-scientific hate propaganda. The same could be said of
the mentally ill as of psychiatrists. I have met more mentally ill people
who have killed others than I have psychiatrists. Using some of the "logic"
that powers the anti-psychiatric posts in here, I could easily say that all
mentally ill people are dangerous killers. Luckily for me, I am not so
concrete in my thinking.
Hopefully, anyone interested in knowing the pros and cons of psychiatry will
look beyond the obviously biased websites to get some balance and a truly
informed understanding of psychiatry.

THe first page of the mass murders book is the definition of his new
science:
"How to attack a person without them realising they are being attacked, how
to disable them without them being able to fight back and how to kill them
without the body dying".
Murder 1: mainly used by Christians, all of whom are mad.

You must have a Syndrome, unless you're a psychiatrist.
