Neck touch leads to arrest

14 year-old Christopher Jones pleaded guilty to his role in a violent
armed robbery at a Gold Star Chili in Queensgate in 2005. Jones was
adjudicated as a serious youthful offender, and as such could serve part
of his sentence in the adult system. Today, the now 17 year old was back
front of a juvenile judge.

Local 12's Rich Jaffe was there as juvenile officials admitted Jones is
too much for them to handle.

Walking past his family members, Christopher Jones was all smiles, even
with the handcuffs. But Jones wasn't smiling when just 14 years old, in
2005, he pulled a gun on a clerk at the Gold Star Chili in Queensgate. He
and two others, robbed the place and got into a gunfight with
police. Sentenced as a serious youthful offender to a juvenile facility,
Jones is back in court, because juvenile authorities want him shipped out
to an adult facility.

Greg Pleasant, DYS Social Worker: "We had found gang information that he
ordered people to get punished and that indicates he had some power in the
unit."

Cincinnati Police hope the promise of a cash reward will help bring in a
man who they say robbed a gas station and later a clothing store, and
murdered a man.

23 year old Jerome Dennis is wanted for an aggravated robbery and
murder. Both happened in June.

Investigators say Dennis went into the Shamrock Gas Station in the 10,000
of Hamilton Avenue in Springfield Township on June 3rd. Officers say
Dennis showed a gun and demanded money from the clerk.

Two days later, police say Dennis shot and killed 35 year old Abdrahmane
Diallo during a robbery at "HD and MD" Clothing on Hamilton
Avenue. Dennis's last known address is on Neptune Drive in Springfield
Township.
