My Daughter Dana made me join Facebook so we could play Scrabulous
(Scrabble) online together.

My High School Graduation Class of 1966 found me there...they have a
group established on Facebook. What a hoot! Oh my Goddess....we
voted to have a high school reunion every 5 years... what a bunch of
partying fools. But I only ever made it to one reunion...it's a ways
to go for me...about 1200 miles. And no direct air service. So.....
the first thing somebody says to me is, "It's almost May 1st. I
always think about you, Ann on May 1st." Well this is kinda a long
story......

To begin with, my high school graduation class includes an awful lot
of people that I started out in kindergarten with....it was a *very*
small town that I went to school in. And to further enlighten...

awwwwwww, Annie, how could the kids not appreciate your little May
baskets?
I think THEY are weird.

I lived in Las Vegas, and what was probly the first time my sis and I
were ever taken to Sunday School on Easter the church ladies gave us
woven little construction paper strip baskets, filled with violets...

Great post Annie! I can just see you, poor thing, being driven about to
deliver your May baskets. How wonderful to be remembered by your classmates
lo these many decades later.

It is not a custom down here in Texoma, but I once had an English beau who
would hang a pretty May basket of flowers and chocolates on my door knob. I
thought it was a lovely idea.

Oh, those are lovely customs, Janet! I wish I had known about the dew
