... Ages...Dark Ages... I marvel to myself at what a bunch of crazy monkeys we humans are. No wonder so many people sought sanctuary in monasteries and convents. But even there, within those cloistered walls, a demon haunted madness tortured their waking thoughts and stalked their nightmares with visions of fantastical horrors. No wonder they tortured each other with such savagery. Ylem
