back to her and told her that she had made a mistake in MY favor. She

Nothing wrong with Scottish English speakers - but sometimes they
revert to dialect over m'head.Aunt Matttie Wallace tried to clue me in,

Seems to me the kindest thing a woman could do, if she knew positively
that a friend's husband was "ahem" flagrantly unfaithful, the thing to
do is tell his wife and warn her to protect herself. The wife may be in
denial, and refuse to believe, but she is completely vulnerable in many
cases, if husband decides to desert her. Women should stick together
