"We urge the United States government to reject the global warming
agreement that was written in Kyoto, Japan in December, 1997, and any
other similar proposals. The proposed limits on greenhouse gases would
harm the environment, hinder the advance of science and technology,
and damage the health and welfare of mankind.

The latest shot of O sitting in front of a row of white haired folks,
did not impress me favorably. It just seemed fake to me. His speech
of what all he is going to do for seniors made me wonder what?
Maybe it is because he seems to have no old folks family. I dunno. He
just seemed out of it all, to me. Surely he must know that the capital
gains tax will hit oldsters if they have rented out the house they
inherited from their mother or father. They can sell their own
residence with a special deduction that wil' cover apprecition profit.
But the rule on the rental is different. NOt to mention the burden of
all the records required to be kept duing the many years.
I found the picture of Hillary taking care of her widowed mother much
more appealing than Obma's.
Then McCain on Mother's Day did an interview and included his 96yo
mother that I thought was charming. She seemed a very nice lady in the
interview.

(Again, this has been around for a while, but some of you might have
missed it)
To commemorate her 69th birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made
a special appearance at Manhattan's Radio City Music Hall for the
benefit of the AARP. One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My
Favorite Things' from the legendary movie 'Sound Of Music'. Here are the
lyrics she used:
(Sing It!)-Maalox and nose drops and needles for knitting,Walkers and
handrails and new dental fittings,Bundles of magazines tied up in
string,These are a few of my favorite things.Cadillacs and cataracts...

Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story (2005)
Down-and-out horse trainer Ben Crane (Kurt Russell) is given an

daughter, Cale (Dakota Fanning), to bring these two damaged souls
together in a quest to win the Breeders' Cup Classic. Elisabeth Shue,
Oded Fehr and Kris Kristofferson co-star in this heartwarming tale
directed by John Gatins.

Resisters of seditious conflict:
You need to do more, with IVAW and Afghan vets. Now that they are
here, you need to attack the illegal funding, from passing 2001 energy
deals and their costs, in 2008. But you don't even have a message
board. Stop asking for money, if you have no media for me. You need
not field Rebekka Pierre or her Russians, as peaceful or as media,
toward this.
GET A MESSAGE BOARD; stop profiling us and asking for money, without
this. The wars are almost 7 years old.
Why have you accrued costs, yet injured us, by pretending the energy
supercosts from deregulated deals of 2001 do not exist, with interest,
yet New Jersey has declared bankruptcy, and California is virtually
bankrupt, from KNOWING how the energy deals were fat, but in 2004, the
interest was seditious? And yet, the GDP is doctored, so the tainted
executives all the way to the lowliest service district janitor need
not admit the inflation OR clean up the mess, impending?

Oil firms fund climate change 'denial'David Adam, science
correspondent The Guardian, Thursday January 27 2005 Article
historyAbout this articleClose This article appeared in the Guardian
on Thursday January 27 2005 . It was last updated at 16:56 on January
28 2005. Lobby groups funded by the US oil industry are targeting
Britain in a bid to play down the threat of climate change and derail
action to cut greenhouse gas emissions, leading scientists have
warned.
Bob May, president of the Royal Society, says that "a lobby of
professional sceptics who opposed action to tackle climate change" is
turning its attention to Britain because of its high profile in the
debate.
Writing in the Life section of today's Guardian, Professor May says
the government's decision to make global warming a focus of its G8
presidency has made it a target. So has the high profile of its chief
scientific adviser, David King, who described climate change as a
bigger threat than terrorism.
