I guess this is as good a time as any to mention Ayaka chan and her
abilities. Those that have seen Ayakas interview already know this
stuff...
(Disclaimer: In the following editorial, the word 'talent' is not
intended to refer to physical attributes. ^_-)
(Where else in the world would someone have to say that?)^_^
In a Pin-Spot interview with Ayaka, she admits that she's not good at
singing or dancing. She says during her audition, she had to show them
something so she showed how good she was at ping-pong. It seems she made
a smash during the game that impressed everyone and she got the job. In
another interview she mentions that she found some things very difficult
and even considered quitting at one point.

PGSM stuff to watch. Guess I'll be doing some downloading tonight.
Thanks.

Well , since this joke never gets any older....
I personally think the Beryl in PGSM is very very 'talented'.

Act 9 - I'll Protect the Legendary Silver Crystal
Of all the acts so far, this one falls the most into what I would call
the filler category. It does not advance the story, nor develop
relationships, nor add any backstory details nor is it particularly
entertaining like the amusement park episode.
Basically, Tuxedo Kaman has gone public in the search for the Silver
Crystal. It is his plan to get everyone in Tokyo to help him find the
gem and then take the gem from that person.
However, there are a few notable details.
Jadeite is put into a crystallized sleep by Queen Beryl. Unlike the
anime, here she appears to still be fond of him and you get the
impression that this is for his benefit.
TK tells Sailor Moon that he does not have any special powers like
they do (supporting a theory I posed earlier).
Ami seems to be acting just a little odd. Maybe it is just her way of
attempting to take more initiative. Or maybe this is a foreshadowing
of what is to come.
Ami also gets a new attack, Shine Aqua Illusion.

Oh definately (I've already mentioned the beek-a-boo cleavage). This Beryl
is a great addition to the show, even more so for the adult viewers.

After having Rei so distressed about having to deal with her Father, it was
a great relief to see her laughing and smiling during the whole escape
scene.
By the way, when she gets dressed up, she's even hotter than usual. ^_-

That would be 'directly'
You know, before I post these things I reread, spell check, and check
again, but after I post there is always yet another mistake to be found. I
sure wish we could edit posts after they're sent. I wonder what I've missed
this time. :(

Act 8 - Rei and Her Father
The heart of this episode is a conflict between Rei and Makoto on how
much should they indulge Usagi's whims. Usagi has called the girls
together to ask their help to both complete her school workbook and to
complete a costume to enter a look-alike cosplay contest based on
Minako's mascot, Nako Nako.
Makoto is agreeable to helping out, but Rei is firm in her belief that
Usagi should do this completely on her own as that would make her a
stronger person. This results in a major argument between the two
girls. Ami stays out of the whole thing, saying she needed to research
Sailor V. Usagi tells everyone to please not argue, that she will do
the work herself.
Mako goes to the Hikawa Shrine to hang a Shinto wish plaque for Usagi
to win the costume contest when she overhears a phone conversation
from Rei about it being too late to have a parent-child relationship
with "him". The two of them continue their argument and Mako walks
away without hanging the plaque.
