Conservatism is intellectually stifling. They honestly think the only
way this generation can succeed is to borrow money from the next
generation and give it to the wealthy. It didn't work under Reagan or
Bush but it did create almost nine trillion dollars of more debt. They
can't let this failed belief system go so historians will be looking at
them like we look at dinosaurs.
