... and 1,000 years isn't much better. When considering global climate
changes you need to look at hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of
years. Then you need to consider events like volcanic eruptions etc.
for any climate shifts. Much of the global warming alarmist's claims
ignore the Little Ice Age which is believed to be caused by volcanic
eruptions in the South Pacific. This gives a false impression that the
Earth is warming from man's influence when it is really coming out of a
geologic induced cooling phase. That makes that 1,000 year interval you
just bragged about VERY uncharacteristic for global temperature changes.
Can you explain why CO2 levels are increasing but global annual
temperature readings haven't gone beyond those from 1998? Why is the
Earth having a substantial cooling period the past two years and
especially this year? There have been no substantial geologic events
that can explain it. Maybe CO2 doesn't have a big influence on global
temperatures after all. What should we do now? Try and HEAT the Earth
to prevent global cooling?
