I Like Drudge and the Drudge Report

Author: Trace

Matt Drudge is a Jew, and I am a Jew, so I like Matt, but not because
he's a Jew. I like Matt because he's a success who came from a
background of failure. He pulled himself up and now is a Rich
American.

Whats really great is that Matt upsets the commie left a great deal.
Any person that tells the truth and upsets the commie radical, God
hating, freaks of nature on the left is a good person, and Matt does
that very well.

When the right blames the media for economic insecurities

For the last several years, the conservative line on the economy was
relatively straightforward: the economy was great, but the mean ol'
mainstream media refused to tell anyone about it, in part because news
outlets were obsessed with Iraq.

Now, apparently, the conservative line has shifted. The economy, they say,
is still great, but the mean ol' mainstream media has confused people into
thinking that the economy is souring.

Today on NBC's "Meet the Press," host Tim Russert pointed to a new CNBC
poll showing that 83 percent of the American public rates the U.S. economy
as only fair/poor. Right-wing strategist Mary Matalin tried to brush off
that number, stating that most Americans are nevertheless happy about their
personal finances.

When liberal strategist Bob Shrum pointed out that her statement is false,
Matalin switched to the well-worn tactic of blaming the media for the
problem:

Blast from the Past: FDR's 'Hundred Days' Honeymoon - 1933
by Meteor Blades

Hope and change. We've heard that seemingly inseparable combination rather
often the past 13 months from a man who would be president. Seventy-five
years ago this coming Tuesday, the man who had just become president
inaugurated a period of hope and change at a time when the nation was
desperate for both, and talk of revolution, dictatorship and the end of
democracy was rife on the street and among what today might be called public
intellectuals. The speech initiating that period, delivered by a man who
could neither stand nor walk without assistance, is now remembered mostly
for a rhetorically powerful turn of phrase: "So first of all, let me assert
my firm belief that the only thing we have...

Americans are 'financially illiterate' - survey
Tuesday February 26, 12:42 pm ET
By Catherine Clifford, CNNMoney.com staff writer

Americans don't understand debt, which may be one reason that they have too
much of it, according to a survey released Tuesday.
The survey presented 1,000 people with a hypothetical scenario about credit
card debt and asked them to compute how long it would take to pay it off.
Only 35.9%% of the 1,000 respondents could figure out how many years it would
take for the amount they owe on their credit cards to double. A full 18.2%%
did not know how to respond and 31.9%% of those surveyed over-estimated the
timeframe.

The survey by Harvard Business School and Dartmouth College professors and
TNS asked respondents to assess their debt levels. Those who said they felt
they were carrying too much debt were found to be "wildly wrong" when it
came to using compound interest to calculate how long it would take to pay
off that debt.

Of those polled, 26%% said they consider the debt they are carrying to be
unmanageable, while 61%% said their debt level was "just right."

Asia Stocks Savaged as Dollar Plumbs New Depths

HONG KONG (Reuters) - The dollar's slide deepened to a 3-year low
against the yen on Monday, and Asian stocks fell, with Tokyo's Nikkei
shedding 4 percent, burdened by growing fears about a U.S. recession
and more writedowns in the financial sector.

The dollar fell as low as 73.531 <.DXY> against a basket of six major
currencies, taking it to the lowest since the index was started in
1973.

It ploughed below 103 yen as Wall Street's sell-off on Friday prompted
an unwinding of the carry trade, where investors borrow currencies
with a low yield -- like the Japanese yen -- to buy high interest rate
currencies.

Rightwinghank:

Why are you so againt Jews when -- in reality -- its the muslims who are
causing trouble? Do some research and you'll find Islam to be the cause
of most political and social turmoil throughout the world.

Islam has been befriended for a long time by the NSA/CSS who are
supposed to be protecting us Americans.

The NSA/CSS supports those moHAMedian terrorists. The NSA/CSS hired
these pisslamic scumbags, knowing that pisslam will terrorize USA. The
NSA/CSS chose not to use this knowledge to our advantage. They supported
the pisslamic fuckholes by hiring them to work for them and
intentionally giving them secrets about the government that they would
never tell us American citizens.

Fuck the NSA/CSS. The NSA/CSS supports pisslamic terrorists. These
mudslimes then perpertrate 9/11. The NSA/CSS then uses 9/11 as an excuse
to attack AMERICAN citizens while still befriending the pisslamic scum
of the earth. The NSA/CSS abuse American citizens by invading their
privacies. The NSA/CSS log our keystrokes and then use those strokes to
defame us.
