Make no mistake about it: Hillary is hardly the ideal candidate, but
compared to Obama she is like Abe Lincoln. She will go down in history
as the only Dem candidate to win almost every large state and not get
the nomination. She would have easily beat McCain and probably
governed from the middle to assure her re-election in 2012. So,
Hillary might not have been bad. On the other hand, Obama could have
severe problems beating McCain because he has been exposed as ill
informed and naive with Marxist leanings.

The Dems should be able to run Mickey Mouse and win this election.
Bush has proved to be a rich spoiled ill prepared buffoon. The economy
is in the tank, the deficit is absurd, the war in Iraq was
unnecessary, gas is through the roof, the dollar is in the tank, the
housing market is worthless and the borders are like a sieve. But wait
never under estimate the total stupidity of a given political party.
Who do the Dems nominate? A Marxist who belonged to a racist church
for 20 years who doesn't have an ounce of creditability. Any other
candidate the Dems win going away. But this might be a horse race.

White House Dogs
Scott McClellan upsets the kennel
© Bryan Zepp Jamieson

ItÂ’s an incredible story. A former high-placed former official of the
White House writes a book that seems to confirm that the President, in
order to cover up lies he told the country in a rush to an unnecessary
war, deliberately outed a undercover operative of the country, and
then repeatedly lied to the country about that.
The chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, Conyers, who had nearly
abandoned efforts to show that this actually happened, and that the
president of the United States is complicit in a lurid tale of
betrayal, lies, deceit, and possible treason, announces that he would
like to have the official testify before his committee. The official
states that he is willing to repeat what he said in his book under
oath.

Global Cooling Is Coming!
From the June/July 2008 Trumpet Print Edition »
Politics and science are at loggerheads over the question of global
warming. The reality is, imminent global cooling is a greater threat
to humankind!
By Ron Fraser
http://www.thetrumpet.com/index.php?q=5132.0.105.0
Though arguments rage over the issue of climate change, only one side
is getting the lionÂ’s share of the publicity. The global warmists win
hands down on that score. The realistsÂ’ argument is plainly not
fashionable. It does not win votes, it does not win business, and itÂ’s
certainly not appealing to the mass media!
That the EarthÂ’s climate is undergoing change is without question. As
to its reasons and its history, they are the nubs of the arguments
posed by both the short-term pro-global warming pundits and those who
take a longer view.

Only in allaah's opinion, not in the opinion of God, Jesus Christ,
Buda or a host of other religious gods (notice I did not even
capitalize the name allaah as he is insiginificant in the universe) .
The world will soon come to realize that Islam and the rest of the
world are not compatible and the rest of the world will win.

Jefferson Parish quadruple-murder defendant acquitted
by Paul Purpura, The Times-Picayune Saturday May 31, 2008, 1:28 PM
Delivering a blow to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office, a jury
Saturday acquitted Cyrus Casby of charges he killed four people,
including his 19-month-old daughter, by stabbing three of them and
setting a fire.
Cyrus Casby
It was the second loss in a high-profile, multiple homicide case the
Sheriff's Office has suffered in less than a year in a Jefferson
Parish court.
Defending himself against a case built around his confession and
physical evidence, Casby, 23, accused detectives of physically abusing
and tricking him to admit his guilt, and of planting evidence tying
him to the Nov. 10, 2004, killings in a Tallowtree Lane apartment in
Harvey.

Bush's fury as ex-spokesman twists the knife
Scott McClellan's memoir of his years as a White House insider is the
most wounding book yet on the President. Rupert Cornwell reports
Sunday, 1 June 2008
What happened? Not What Happened, the simple and declarative title of
the political memoir that last week set Washington afire – but, what
on earth happened? How did an outwardly meek, loyal and somewhat
undistinguished White House spokes-man named Scott McClellan come to
write a book that demolishes George Bush and his administration more
woundingly than any published so far?
Most recent presidential spokesmen have burst into print after leaving
office. Some are bent on settling scores, others indulge in
unrestrained hero worship. But none has ever turned on his former boss
as comprehensively as McClellan, saddened but, he says, at last wiser
as he takes apart the Iraq war and "a presidency that veered terribly
off course".

Yesterday, Obama needed 41 delegate votes to clinch the nomination;
Clinton needed 244.
Today, Obama needs 64 votes; Clinton needs 240.5.
There are 291 delegates remaining.
So there ya go.
