Just as I predicted 14 months ago, the American
Presidential campaign has proven to be too brief.
With Inauguration Day less than ten months away,
the Democrat Party has still not settled on a nominee!
Interviews of Party leaders reveal that they are
all very concerned about this problem; all agree
that it is imperative that the problem be settled
before the actual vote in Colorado at August.
Obviously no one wants to settle this election by
such crude and antiquated means as vote-counting --
the same policy that brought Hamas to power in
Palestine. It is time to finesse the problem with
the help of a Wise Man.

WeÂ’re now in the midst of an epic financial crisis, which ought to be
at the center of the election debate. But it isnÂ’t.
Now, I donÂ’t expect presidential campaigns to have all the answers to
our current crisis — even financial experts are scrambling to keep up
with events. But I do think weÂ’re entitled to more answers, and in
particular a clearer commitment to financial reform, than weÂ’re
getting so far.
In truth, I donÂ’t expect much from John McCain, who has both admitted
not knowing much about economics and denied having ever said that.
Anyway, lately heÂ’s been busy demonstrating that he doesnÂ’t know much
about the Middle East, either.
Yet the McCain campaignÂ’s silence on the financial crisis has
disappointed even my low expectations.

Hiya Mike!! I'm definitely interested. Unfortunately I don't have a pic
scanned in, although if that's a problem I think I can get one. I'm at 671
Waycross Road and not only live alone but work out of my home - so timing is
no problem.
Am definitely interested in hooking up - I like your pic.

"Some Easter trinkets test high for lead in small study"
"If you're the Easter-trinket-buying type, beware: some pastel gewgaws may
have high levels of lead, according to testing done by students at Ohio's
Ashland University. Of 45 Easter-themed spinning tops, hair clips, sippy
cups, and plastic eggs purchased at the fun-to-say Hobby Lobby, 13 exceeded
the federal standards for lead in paint. But that shouldn't mean an end to
all your Easter fun
-- Peeps are 100 percent lead-free! "
The next time you see a Republican on the street, do him a favor by
administering to him a swift kick up the backside!

Seven firms closed in Calif. mortgage fraud probe
By Ryan Nakashima, AP Business Writer
LOS ANGELES - In August 2007, investigator Eric Bremner
found evidence in a shredder at Olympic Escrow that he says
confirmed borrowers' complaints that they had never signed
the mortgage documents that pushed them into a financial
hell.
Bremner found pieces of documents that had been cut to
remove signatures and notary seals. Loan applications,
escrow agreements and other documents had signatures that
had been taped on, he said.
"That validated the statements that the victims had been
making over and over again: That they did not recall signing
these documents and they did not agree to the terms of the
loans they were given," says Bremner, a senior investigator
in the real estate fraud unit of the San Bernardino County
district attorney's office.
