Gore gets a cold shoulder
October 14, 2007
http://www.smh.com.au/news/environment/gore-gets-a-cold-shoulder/2007/10/13/1191696238792...

ONE of the world's foremost meteorologists has called the theory that
helped Al Gore share the Nobel Peace Prize "ridiculous" and the
product of "people who don't understand how the atmosphere works".

Dr William Gray, a pioneer in the science of seasonal hurricane
forecasts, told a packed lecture hall at the University of North
Carolina that humans were not responsible for the warming of the
earth.

His comments came on the same day that the Nobel committee honoured Mr
Gore for his work in support of the link between humans and global
warming.

"We're brainwashing our children," said Dr Gray, 78, a long-time
professor at Colorado State University. "They're going to the Gore
movie [An Inconvenient Truth] and being fed all this. It's
ridiculous."

Nobel Prize for Al Gore: ‘Old EuropeÂ’ fires back at the Bush

Nobel Prize for Al Gore: ‘Old Europe’ fires back at the Bush
administration
By Patrick Martin
http://www.tehrantimes.com/index_View.asp?code=154819

The awarding of the Nobel Peace Prize to former Vice President Al Gore
is a political statement by the European bourgeoisie about the
policies of the Bush administration and the politics of the United
States. Rarely has there been such an open intervention by the
European ruling elite in the internal politics of America.

The political significance of GoreÂ’s selection is clear, given that he
is still an active figure in American politics, widely mentioned as a
potential presidential candidate, who has on occasions attacked both
the foreign and domestic policies of the Bush administration. At the
very least, the award can be taken as a signal from the Norwegian
political establishment—from which the selection committee is
chosen—that it hopes for a Democratic victory in the 2008 presidential
election.

  Great article on marriage

Author: lovemarriage.kim
Date: Oct 14, 2007 21:27

Many of the problems you may be facing could be just the tip of the
iceberg on what is really happening in your marriage. I don't mean to
scare you,but many problems, when they either first show up or if they
keep reoccurring could be just what's showing from a larger problem
that either you or your spouse cannot even see. One of the only things
you can do to help is to talk honestly and openly with each other in
the marriage. If things become serious, more serious options need to
be looked at as possibilities. I have a blog that has more
information on some of what I've been writing about. If you feel like
checking it out, I would completely suggest it.
http://lovemarriagelove.blogspot.com/

Love is a choice that is made everyday when you wake up and every
night when you go to sleep. Some days you may not feel the original
felling, but love isn't a feeling are emotions. It is an action, a
verb. Falling out of love just mean you need to spice things up a
little, or that you were never in love in the first place. Don't just
get out of a marriage just because you don't think you like the person
anymore.
