Late-night snack soured by racially motivated violence
By MIKE WIGGINS The Daily Sentinel
Wednesday, July 25, 2007
One minute, Sam and Nathan Corle say, they were sitting outside a Grand
Junction fast-food restaurant, enjoying a late-night snack.
The next, they were being assaulted by a group of strangers, leaving the
teenagers with black eyes, bloody noses and bruises.
The father of the brothers is decrying last weekend’s attack as random and
racially motivated and says he fears it could be symptomatic of a larger
problem with street gangs in the Grand Valley.
“I’ve seen this, and this is not something we can tolerate in this
community,” Greg Corle said.
The Corle brothers, who are white, say they and a friend had driven to Los
Jilbertos, 2812 North Ave., about 1 a.m. Sunday to grab something to eat
and were sitting outside the restaurant when a red Honda pulled into the
parking lot and a group of young Hispanic men got out.
Nathan Corle, 16, said the men began yelling at them, calling them “white
boys” and asking them what they were looking at and if they wanted to
fight. He said he laughed because he thought it was a joke.

I'm certainly not "into" firearms at all (in fact, I haven't touched a
gun since my short Armed Forces career many years ago) but this looks like
a d*mn good time to think about stocking-up on self/family-defense tools
for what's coming.
An aside that seems apropos right now: One day while browsing the shelves
of a local library shortly after moving to California (this was right
before the Internet really took-off) I chanced upon a book about the 1965
riots in Los Angeles. I clearly recall thinking to myself how unimaginable,
unlikely and far-fetched another such situation of full-scale homicidal
rioting, looting and violent mayhem in the streets of the nation's
second-biggest city seemed to be.
The devastating "Rodney King riots" exploded in Los Angeles about two
years later. I couldn't go to work and police in my L.A. suburb "rode
shotgun" as the riots actually creeped (and many probably are unaware of
this) well into L.A.'s suburbs.
And GUESS who was actually doing MOST of the rioting? I know, I know, the
electronic media kept replaying the horrific video clip of white trucker
Reginald Denny's near-fatal attack by blacks. However, the FACT is that
MOST of the rioting and looting was in fact being done by illegal aliens.

He gets it!

GORDON Brown last night praised George Bush for leading the global war on
terror - saying the world owed America a huge debt.
The Prime Minister vowed to take Winston Churchill's lead and make Britain's
ties with America even stronger.
Mr Brown stunned critics by THANKING President Bush for the fight against
Islamic extremism, and insisted the UK-US relationship will be his No1
foreign policy priority.
He said on his first visit to the President's US retreat at Camp David:
"Winston Churchill spoke of the 'joint inheritance' of our two countries."
The PM said that meant "a joint inheritance not just of shared history but
shared values founded on a shared destiny".
He added: "America has shown by the resilience and bravery of its people
from September 11 that while buildings can be destroyed, values are
indestructable.
"We acknowledge the debt the world owes to the US for its leadership in this
fight against international terrorism."

Look at the shirt of the 2nd person... he has a logo of a Mexican
Anarchist (Red, White, Green - and wearing a mask). Suggest the Chula
Vista police check the attendees at the next meeting of MEChA at
Southwestern College... they might be able to round up all three at
once.

I also suggest checking with the "good folks" at IndyMedia... they are
also heavily into the anarchism represented by the T-shirt.

VICK IS TO DOGS AS BUSH IS TO HUMANS!!!!!
The only difference appears to be that Vic is to face a court of his
peers while BUSH CONTINUES TO LIE as more and more HUMANS, USED AS
BAIT, DIE!!! The beat goes on as HIS INTERESTS seek to provide more
weapons to Israel, and others, which include bullets marked to be used
against our very own!!!
WHY ARE WE MORE OFFENDED AT CRUELTY AGAINST DOGS THAN WE ARE ABOUT
CRUELTY AGAINST HUMANS?????

Anxious Republicans fear another beating
By Jim Snyder
Nine months after Republicans were routed in the midterm elections,
campaign observers, K Street lobbyists and political experts say there
is little evidence the party can rebound in 2008.
The same bad news — the president’s low approval ratings, opposition
to the war in Iraq, and the lingering taint of congressional scandal,
from the Jack Abramoff investigation to Sen. David VitterÂ’s (La.)
involvement with the alleged “D.C. Madam” — leave observers skeptical
that the GOP can dent Democratic majorities, let alone reclaim power
in the next election.
“The only thing that has changed is that everything that was bad got
worse,” said Bernadette Budde, political director of the Business
Industry Political Action Committee.

Biden Responds to Rudy's Attacks
by Jason Horowitz
BIDEN RESPONDS TO GIULIANI ATTACK ON DEMOCRATS
Wilmington, DE -
Sen. Joe Biden issued the following statement in response to Rudy
Giuliani's recent baseless attack on Democrats' national security
credentials:
"Rudy Giuliani just doesn't get it.
Tough talk and cheap shots won't make America any safer or get mine
resistant vehicles to our troops any faster.
It is absurd for Rudy Giuliani to call Democrats ‘losers' after five
years of failed Republican policies in Iraq.
"It is outrageous that three years after the 9/11 Commission made its
recommendations virtually nothing has been funded by this White House
and yet Giuliani continues to make the pathetic case that his party
has provided leadership fighting terrorism.
