Its a commonly known fact that at least 10%% of the USA is foreign
born. We have more so called "immigrants" in the USA today than at
any other time in our history.

How many more will it take before we have let in enough and we close

historic energy bill that mandates massive increases in the production
of ethanol, which is to be used as "biofuel" to run automobiles and
trucks. Ethanol is currently made from corn and other foodstuffs, and
all of the various forms of biofuel, including "biodiesel," are made
from food or from inedible crops which displace normal agricultural
activity. Even at current limited levels of biofuel production, this
"renewable energy source" has already caused huge increases in the
price of food around the world, which can be experienced firsthand at
any supermarket in America. Unfortunately, consumers/voters are
undereducated as to exactly why food prices have risen so rapidly.

Feds: Employers allowed to block e-mails related to labor union
activity

Employers have the right to bar employees from sending union-related
E-mails using company servers, the New York Times reports.

On Friday, the National Labor Relations Board ruled 3-2 that an
employer, using internal company policy, has the right to classify a
union-related communication as a "non-job-related solicitation."

The two dissenting board members noted that E-mail has become a major
form of communication in the workplace, and disagreed with the
majority's assertion that a company's "property rights" trump an
employee's right to organize and discuss workplace-related issues with
other workers.

There was a weird story in the paper today. The NY Times reported that
J. Edgar Hoover, the former director of the FBI from 1924 until his
death in 1972, had put forth a plan to the President to suspend habeas
corpus and arrest some 12,000 people, nearly all of them American
citizens, and hold them indefinitely without trial.

At first glance, the story didnÂ’t seem surprising. Everyone knows the
lurid stories about the director and his nearly sociopathic vendettas
against any and all people whose politics he disliked, his
bureaucratic machinations, and his utter contempt for the rights of
suspects. Nearly every bad thing we believed about him in the late
sixties turned out to be true, and whatÂ’s more, he used to dress up in
womenÂ’s clothes and swan about his house.
