Alarcon] said no: “I don’t think this place is worth another soldier’s
life.

THE ACLU: MEXICANS, MUSLIMS, ANTI-FAMILY, ANTI-WASP, ANTI-AMERICA
AGENDA
The ACLU's main goal is to destroy/deconstruct the USA while ushering
in Marxism or radical Socialism. The ACLU doesn't care a bit about
Mexicans, they simply view Mexicans and illegal aliens in general...

Residents Shocked At Charges Against Suburban Mayor
Bond Set At $100,000
GREEN OAKS, Ill. -- Thomas Adams, longtime Green Oaks mayor and former
chairman of the Lake County Republican Central Committee, was charged
Monday with possession and distribution of child pornography.
Adams, 67, faces 11 counts of disseminating child pornography and two
counts of possession. Lake County Judge Victoria Rossetti set his bond
at $100,000.
Prosecutor Patricia Fix said sheriff's and state's attorney's
investigators first received tips on Adams' alleged illegal activities
in March 2005.
Fix said Adams sent child pornography, via attachments to e-mail, to
undercover police in Clearwater, Fla.
Dan Venturi, chairman of the Lake County Republican Party, called the
news "devastating."
"Regardless of who you are, you're stature or your party affiliation,
he was the type that would help," he said. "That's what makes this so
devastating."

As the nation slips into a new "Not So Great Depression," Republicans
are embracing a new kind of Compassionate Conservatism that should
appeal to poverty-stricken people who've lost their homes, jobs and
traditional abhorrence of homosexuality and pedophilia. Leading the
new effort is Wisconsin Republican leader and Brown County GOP
Chairman Donald Fleischman, currently facing charges of child
enticement, contributing to the delinquency of a child and exposing
himself to a child - all because he (allegedly) wanted to show his
love to a runaway boy!
Fleischman apparently took the boy to some remote cabin in the woods
(surely a log cabin), plied the kid with beer and marijuana, and then
repeatedly tried to get busy with the teen in bed. The Green Bay Press-
Gazette reports;
The boy told police that when he would go to bed, Fleischman would
fondle him and that on one occasion he awoke to find Fleischman at the
foot of his bed masturbating.

Frank Rich: Rudy, the Values Slayer
[Zeppnote: another columnist already noted that if it came to Hillary
vs the Yankee Flipper, the "values voters" would have to go with
Hillary. I bet Bill Clinton is laughing his ass off over that!]
Frank Rich, The New York Times, October 28, 2007
http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/28/opinion/28rich.html?ref=opinion
With the new president heading off to his Texas vacation during that
slow news month of August 2001, I wrote a column about a man who would
never be president: Rudy Giuliani. Banished from Gracie Mansion after
dumping his second wife for Judith Nathan, New YorkÂ’s lame-duck mayor
had been bunking for two months with a gay couple. No brand-name
American politician had ever publicly done such a thing, so I decided
to pay a visit to RudyÂ’s home away from home.

Here are ten new laws that the Dems are trying to sneak under the
radar:
When Chairman Rangel introduced his long-awaited tax legislation
yesterday morning, there were certain things he conveniently forgot to
mention. Among the things the Democratic Majority doesn't want you to
know about the "Mother of All Tax Hikes":
1. MARRIAGE PENALTY ON STEROIDS: The bill imposes a surtax of 4%% on
single filers with incomes above $150,000 and $200,000 for married
couples filing jointly. After years of fighting efforts to repeal the
marriage penalty, the Majority is taking the battle to a new level by
putting a massive new marriage penalty into the tax code.

Air travel is set to be improved by new competition
This past summer, carriers operated at 86%% load factors (percent
of seats filled), and racked up profits even as oil prices rose.
United, Delta, American Airlines and Jet Blue all reported hefty
increases in profits.

Hmmm......the airlines that demanded (and got) hefty bailout
checks from the GOP Congress in 2001 are now making buckets of
money.
So when is the Bush administration going to ask that they
repay the public that kept them afloat?

Democrats Plan a Shorter Workweek
WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 - Shortly after winning a majority last year,
Democrats triumphantly declared that they would put Congress back to
work, promising an "end to the two-day workweek."
But 10 months into the session, with their legislative agenda often in
gridlock with the Bush administration and a big election year looming,
the Democrats are now planning a lighter schedule when the 110th
Congress begins its second year in mid-January.
"Is this a reward for our accomplishments in 2007?" asked
Representative Roy Blunt of Missouri, the Republican whip.
