I'm not sure what version of the Googlebar you're using, but on mine, at
the far left, is a G which allows for selection of "Googlebar options". On
the "Google Searches" tab the country of search can be selected. See if
you can find this option and give it a try.

It's the default google toolbar that comes with FF 2.0.0.14. I
haven't found a way to determine the version. No googlebar options
when clicking on the G to the left, but there is a list of alternate
search engines to use (not that I want to, though I'm sure that
they're quite decent for those who are accustomed to them). Thanks
anyway.
