Can't speak to this since I haven't seen "Punch-Drunk Love" or much of anything
with Sandler. Bill Murray's gotten a lot of good press for "Broken Flowers" &
"Lost in Translation" but again, I haven't seen them.

I've only seen him in comedies, action adventures (with a lot of comedy), and
cameos. Still, ask any man on the street and IF they know his name, they'll know
him for Mummies, Looney Tunes BIA, Dudley Do-Right and George of the Jungle.

Point is, what are audiences going to expect from him...
