Advantages and disadvantages both ways. Depends on how quickly you
want to sell, and how much time and effort you want to put into it.
As for selling the entire set as a single lot, there is the potential
to get it over and done with in a single sale, with a good selling
price. The downside is, there is a limited market for complete sets,
and likely your reserve may not be met. You also don't maximize the
profit potential, since most of the value of the set comes from the
doubles and omnibuses.
As for selling them singly, this does maximize the potential for
profit -- figure 30%% more than you'd get for the set. But the catch
is, you end up doing a LOT of work -- with the extra copies you have
it would be close to 200 transactions. AND you may not be able to
sell them all.
A possible strategy would be to sell all the singles together as a
lot, and then to try and sell the doubles and omnibuses as separate
volumes.
