Pearls don't handle water well. Neither do opals. I'd recommend sticking
to a nice, classical, platinum-and-diamonds theme. Audrey Hepburn should
be acceptable in place of June Cleaver, surely?

Oh, yes. She only lives 20 miles away, but she is here only once a year, for
the little one's birthday. I spend an entire week cleaning, even going so
far as the toothbrush on baseboard thing - but the report back is always
"Filthy". Please do not get me started.
