Help me save money

I'm trying to figure out ways to cut corners on expenses. I drink
quite a lot of La Croix sparkling water -- 2-3 cans most evenings,
which comes to $8-9 a week. Can anyone recommend a cheaper sparkling
water (unsweetened,) or the cheapest club soda they know of? I don't
generally shop at WalMart, but do they possibly have a house brand of
club soda? I'd be willing to drive across town if it would save me
money to buy the stuff by the case.

I only wish I could buy the stuff at Costco, but the nearest one is a
good hour-and-forty-five away.

Why do you have a need for 2-3 cans of sparkling water every evenings?
Do you have a digestive problem?

Why not buy a soda siphon and some CO2 chargers and make your own
sparkling water? They seem to cost under $50, and the refills are
under a buck apiece - it would save you lots of money - and think of
how popular you would be at a Three Stooges convention.

where are you? is there a Smart & Final nearby? they have Shasta soda
(here, anyway) cheap. doesn't club soda have too much sodium? stick to
sparkling water. also, Fry's Grocery Store, which is our local flavor
of Kroger's, has house brand sparkling water for usually 99cents (or
less) for a 2-liter bottle. would that get you thru the evening?

I have one of those. One feels so glamourous and Jackie O-ish with
a soda siphon. If one had guests one could ask them if they wanted
Scotch and soda and stand there feeling like Elizabeth Montgomery.

How much do you pay per can (per 12-pack, whatever)? Between
$8/21=$0.38 and $9/14=$0.64 per can? Sound about right? That works
out to $9.14 - $14.42 per 24-pack. Do you have room to stock up?

http://www.cvcoffee.com/pd_lacroix.cfm

is $13 for 2*12. If you order three, that comes to $62.52 with S&H
which is $0.87 per can.

Actually, that not a good deal at all. Is there a Sam's Club near you?

I'd say start at the low end and keep going more expensive until you
find one that's acceptable. But hey, that's me, the cheapskate.
