-- known as
"blowing brains" on the floor -- produces aerosols of brain matter. Once
inhaled, the material prompts the immune system to produce antibodies
that attack the pig brain compounds, but apparently also attack the
body's own nerve tissue because it is so similar"

What's most amazing is how little barrier protection the workers had.

I don't know offhand how much protection one needs to prevent inhaling
aerosolized pig brain, but I read up on all of this with some serious
morbid fascination.

Oh, and I almost puked.

And people wonder why I'm vegetarian.

V., not gloating, just glad.

The thing that struck me about this report was that the aim of the
process is to produce "a pink paste" which is put into jars and sold.
Does anyone knowingly buy pulverized pig brains, or is it marketed as
potted pork or something?

If you want morbid, try this web site. BE WARNED - THIS IS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC
CRIME SCENE PHOTO TYPE CONTENT: I became aware of this site when a horrible
industrial accident was featured which got cited on a number of metalworking
forums I read. That article is titled "This is twisted" and shows a worker all
twisted up in a large lathe. Dismembered, beheaded and shredded, all with
close up photos. again,
