That reminds me: I haven't seen any Scrooge ads on TV yet for

Of course I watch little enough TV that they could well have dropped
him four years ago. You don't notice when an annoying character
disappears from saturation TV..

I can't say when it happened, but I'm pretty sure he's gone, I didn't
see him at all during the last couple Hockey Night in Canadas, and
Canadian Tire had commercials running. They seem to be using a
variation on the drop down signs thing they did last spring, I noticed
those during the playof....I'm such a fucking Canuck.
