Democratic Convention- Obama's Speech

I'm a little behind with the politics- I get to listen to Limbaugh or
Hannity in my car- not exactly representative of what's really going
on.and I'm sure people here have been talking about Obama. I watched
the speech he gave last night and I was practically moved to tears. It
really was like he was talking right to the heart of me. I LOVE where
he came from, poor, minority, no dad, etc. and I love his perception
on the reality of our country. I love the issues he discussed and his
descriptions of our country's problems.
Perhaps I'm star struck; I'll wait and see what McCain has to say.
Any one else watch this? What did you think?

Apparently 38 million people did. 83,000 people watched it in person.

It wasn't his best speech yet, but it was good.

He was poor?

And he lived with his grandparents for a good part of his life, so it
seems just as logical to say he grew up without a mom also....I dunno.

I don't watch TV. But I had it on my radio next to the bed,
and I thought it was one of the best speeches I have ever
heard.

He reminded me a lot of Reagan.
