Okay, so my friend came over (this is a whole different story I may or
may not tell) and after I helped him with something he gave me a ride
to the 99 Cents store. One of the things I bought was a few cartons of
Vanilla Soy Milk. No name brand, flash pasteurized and an expiration
date of 5/31/08.
After opening it and pouring it in a glass, I noticed chunks falling
out and making a splash in the liquid. I am not sure if I should drink
this or not.
Can someone please advise?

We went to see two movies this weekend...Iron Man and the new Indiana Jones
movie. We both really enjoyed the former, gave the latter a big "meh".
Looking on imdb and RottenTomatoes, it looks like IJatCS is getting
positive reception. I can't figure out why. The story was a mess, the
acting nondescript. Even the special effects didn't seem all that eye-
popping. Maybe we were jaded by seeing Iron Man first.
Do I have a point? I guess it would be "save your money". Or "Is it just
us?".

So today another chunk of the lawn got dug up and compost dug in and I
planted:
Caraway thyme
White-flowered creeping thyme
Peter Davis thyme (upright, French-type, v. handsome!)
Variegated lemon thyme
Oregano thyme
Nutmeg thyme
and some Elfin thyme, ripped up from the clump near the Purple Tiger
rose and planted inside a broken cinder block to spread (plus African
basil and some Shirley poppies for color.)
These thymes join the aforementioned Elfin Thyme around the PT rose,
woolly thyme, lime thyme, French thyme, English thyme, variegated
lemon thyme (ack, I forgot I already had this!), German thyme (which
is exactly the same as English thyme except for it's name, I think),
more Elfin thyme, mother-of-thyme, creeping thyme, and Silver thyme.

It's about 5:30 PM here in Red Sox Nation and I'm saying a silent prayer
that the Pheonix Spacecraft's Mars landing will come off OK in about
2-1/2 hours.

Excerpt:
Oakland economist John Williams doesn't seem like the kind of guy to
pick fights with the government.
He's slow moving and soft spoken, conservative in politics and
personal habits, a pale and portly 59-year-old who favors Oxford
shirts, Rep ties and sensible shoes. Williams is the sort who pays his
taxes on time, waits when the signal says "Don't Walk" and snaps to
attention when the national anthem is played.
But don't be fooled. The New Jersey native is leading a one-man
crusade to expose official economic data as grossly misleading at best
and, at worst, a pack of lies.

The following is from an article in the NY Review of Books from 1969.
In America, the cult of personality is the faith of the outcast, the
politics of salvation. To be revered beyond reason, the cult-hero need
not be particularly talented (Barry Goldwater, for example) nor...
