In my service panel (dating from 1980) I have several ganged type
breakers for the AC, Range and Water heater. Today I had to expand the
panel by two lighting circuits, and in the process had to remove these
ganged breakers. I was surprised to find that the two breakers in each
pair were apparently actually separate breakers with a small plastic
insert stuck between the pole handles of each breaker. As luck would
have it I broke all of these inserts trying to get the breakers back in.
Are these available anymore? Is it the right fix to replace those? I
note the new breaker I bought for my range, a CH-230 looks like two
CH-130's "glued" together and has a painted metal band around the
pieces locking their poles together.

Is there an easy way to calculate an RC circuit if I want a specific
voltage in a given time?
As an example: I have 5-volts into an RC and I want it to reach 2 volts in
500ms.
Iw as trying to use percentages and then resorted to a diff eq but that
solves for current over time.
TIA

Our computer server room outlets for our power distribution units (PDUs) are
protected by ground fault protection. As I understand it, a GFP will
trigger when it senses current on the ground, and when it does then the GFP
shuts off the circuit. We tried today to rewire some things in our
server room, and the GFP kept triggering, and I want help understanding
possible causes.
Each server has two power supplies. In an effort to minimize cabling, we
purchased from Dell some cables that plug into the PDU using Nema 5-15P, and
split to two different IEC C14 plugs that go to the server power supplies.
It appears that use of this power cord to two power supplies is what is
causing the ground faults. We can cure the GFP fault simply by leaving
just one of the two plugs in each server. Does someone have an explanation
as to why the GFP would fault when both power supplies are served from the
same plug?
Perhaps the power supplies start up at different times, and there is some
kind of reverse current associated with the startup?
