Over 100 Firefighters Spend Day Putting Out West Harrison Brush Fire

Almost 12 hours after it was first reported, firefighters from all over the
Tri-State are still in West Harrison trying to put out a large brush fire.

It was discovered before dawn near the Higher Ground Camping Center along
Indiana Route 46 and Interstate 74 in West Harrison.

Over a dozen fire companies from Indiana, Ohio and even Northern Kentucky
have joined in the literally "hand-to-hand" combat with this smoking brush
fire that's already blacked dozens of acres here.
