Truck Crash Sparks Brush Fire

SAN PASQUAL, Calif. -- A dump truck crashed on a rural North County road and
burst into flames, sparking a hillside brush fire that blackened dozens of
acres, authorities said.

The commercial vehicle veered out of control and overturned shortly after
1530 PDT on San Pasqual Valley Road, a few miles east of the San Diego Wild
Animal Park, the CHP stated.

4 air tankers and 3 helicopters were helping ground crews control the fire.
