Five workers who were trapped deep underground by a chemical fire at the
Cabin Creek hydroelectric facility have been found dead, authorities
confirmed Tuesday evening.

The five workers who were trapped after a chemical fire at a hydroelectric
plant outside Georgetown are dead.
Clear Creek County undersheriff Stu Nay said a crew sent in to fight the
fire found the workers' bodies.

5 workers were trapped 1,300 feet inside an empty water tunnel
GEORGETOWN, Colorado

All five workers who were trapped inside an empty water tunnel after a fire
at a hydroelectric plant just outside of Georgetown have died, authorities
confirmed late Tuesday evening.
A rescue crew which was sent to the bottom of the tunnel to put out the fire
found the worker's bodies, said Clear Creek County undersheriff Stu Nay
said.

The Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office says five contract workers died
while trapped inside a pipe next to a dam on Guanella Pass.
The five workers were trapped around 14:00 when the fire started on Tuesday
at a hydroelectric plant and there was radio communication with them shortly
after that. At that time, there were no reported injuries.
