11-Year-Old Boy Found Trapped In Chimney Cited For Trespassing

FRESNO, California --- The Sheriff's department arrived at a Central Fresno
home around 02:30 PDT thinking they were responding to a home break-in.

Officials found the boy after seeing a sweatshirt and ashes at the bottom of
the fireplace.

He had some scrapes and bruises.

Investigators don't know yet if the homeowners will press charges. The boy
was cited and turned over to his parents.
