"Transient lifestyle"?

I see in our local fish wrapper that a man has been convicted of killing
another. The victim was described as having a "transient lifestyle." That's
two words and 18 letters just to avoid using "hobo." Oh, so non-judgmental
and sensitive, eh! Curious, considering the guy's dead.

That's great. I've never seen that one before. It's just as bad as other
eupemisms, like "wetlands" for "swamp". "Sexual orientation" for, well,
they made that one completely up.

Conservatives are guilty, too, like "the unborn" for a fetus.

*******
You'll get no argument from me on that. My all time favorite just may be
calling the handicapped, "handicapable." ...
