FROM NCPA

WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT FOR WOMEN?

Capitalism and democracy are both known to improve the well-being of women.
But which is more important? The evidence suggests that institutional
reforms that move an economy closer to capitalism have a greater positive
influence on the well-being of women, says Michael D. Stroup, a professor of

investment, growth and income.

In countries with comparatively high levels of both economic and political
freedom:

At the risk of trying to educate a fool, The Tocharians ran the world's
first transnational free market in the independent city states of what
we call the Silk Road, beyond the hegemony of Chinese, Byzantine, and
Persian empires.

And the cold dry deserts of Central Asia preserved tons of ancient
documents that show most of it was run by women. The gals ran the
shipping offices, the men did the legwork on the Silk Road.

But they lived communally, and so had the control to draft the airheads
into brothels instead of breeding them on welfare. You cant do that with
the nuclear family household cause every jackass thinks he has the right
to knock up any bitch stupid enuf to live with him.

The warrior class ruled because it was bigger and stronger. But now, after
5000 years of rule by the alpha males, the brave heart, strong right
arm, sword in hand.... no longer cuts it.

And there were in some obscure situations in the past where warriors
were not able to dominate, and in them, we see the women take over.

Smith & Wesson guarantees equal rights for smart women. Smart women are
increasingly aware of the few times when women ran things, all the way
from neolithic Anatolia to the Mosou who still live in SW China. In
every case, the women used communal housing.

In today's world, this results in a far lower per capita carbon
footprint, and thus the cost of living for each of them would be far
lower. I am currently involved in helping some young women organize a
communal household. They can see the lower cost of living, and the
advantages of others being in the house to provide child care.
