Several towns and areas and roads that surround my little town of
Laytonville
have been ordered to evacute by mandatory sheriff and fire departments
and things look very bad next to my area for the next few days. All I
can see is
smoke everywhere with the glow of mountain fires around me for 8 to 20
miles North of my town to the East and all the way West to the ocean
in some towns
like Rockport and inland Leggett are all evacuated and could soon turn
into repears like now are raging in Big Sur.
I can't see any mountains that surround my home area in
Laytonville - just smoke and fires on the mountains. I can't
dare go to sleep as to the South of me about 37 miles is a
large fire out of control now in the Orr Springs and Boonville
areas and mandatory evacuations for that area may soon
happen.
