Young mum faces eviction

A housing association is to instigate proceedings for the possession of a
single mother's home after she was convicted of possessing 10.4 grammes of
herbal cannabis.

When police executed a search warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at 39
Golwg y Castell, Cardigan, the home of 26-year-old Sarah Louise Phillips
and her young child, she told officers "I'll lose my home now."

And when she appeared before magistrates in the town her solicitor Mike
Rattenbury said: "Her landlord will instigate possession orders in the
near future."

Phillips, who had previous drug- related convictions, pleaded guilty to
possession on October 17.

The court heard that in September last year the defendant was made the
subject of a Drug Testing and Treatment Order.

Phillips was fined £150 with £50 costs.

That's not what the law says. There's plenty of laws I don't like but have
to follow. Why should she be any different?

Her 'bad luck' was to break the law.

I don't. I think that these kind of actions are excellent use.

Good, druggies should be driven from society, they are week people who will
never contribute to society and every time they screw up they will blaim the
drugs, not their own sad and pathetic existance.

Well if she spent her money on a mortgage instead of drugs she could get her
own place

It seems the title of the thread is highly misleading though, doesnt it???
She is a multiple offender, and if the police had a search warrant, they
obviously believed her to be a dealer.
