Got 4 WR girls here, from clones, all have had now 12 weeks of 12/12, and
the trichomes are still all (but a few here and there on older bits) white,
as are about 80%% of the 'hairs' - I am at a loss to figure it out, esp.
since they started into propper flower after only 3 days of 12/12, and this
is not some rare, slow finishing WR pheno. either - this is the usual 7 to 8
weeks flowering, maybe up to 9 if you have no push and want that extra
'thunk!' from the hit.
Anyone got any ideas/suggestions? I already dropped the lights on time to
about 7 or 8 on about 4 or so days ago...
I harvested the scraggliest one of the lot just a couple of days ago, so not
in a desperate rush for the other 3 to finish I suppose.
Cheers!

Hey there Shaun, sounds like you've got the green thumb thing
going on good for you there! Take a look at the trichomes and see if
they are showing any signs of getting cloudy or dark, or if they are
still water clear. White Russian is so named because of the white
hairs, so they may not change appreciably until the plant actually
begins to die. How are the leaves doing, are the larger fan leaves
dropping off yet? Are the leaves yellowing and drying higher up on the
plant?

Heheheh, well maybe I am getting there!

This is the thing you see - at the stated ~8 weeks of flower, the trichs
were still only just starting to turn white, and now at about 11 1/2 weeks,
just a *very* few are starting to turn golden.

Understand that bro', but I have been using the trichomes to judge ripeness
by...
