Taking drugs from pushers is legal but after they are used for
evidence they must be destoyed in most USA jurisdictions. Further
it is illegal in the USA to use drugs that are illegal to maintain
drug users. The drugs taken from dealers are usually quite impure.
Legal drugs like morphine could be used in the case of opiate
addiction but as I note above such treatment is outlawed in the
compassionate United States of America.
Your problem is that you know nothing about the real problems
with the drug laws in this nation which allow DEA agents to
interfere with the treatment of patient suffering chronic pain
and arrest the physicians who treat them according to standards
of care.
The following material is included for the more uninformed lurkers
