Three quarters of the way through the last century there was deep
concern that "POT" (cannabis) a herb was being used by many students
attending well respected Melbourne High schools. This heralding the
great drug debate.
Well meaning and funded organisations opposing Cannabis
decriminalisation claimed that cannabis use leads to hard drug use
such as heroin, Subsequently, during the early eighties cannabis was
placed under the drugs poisons and substance act. Very heavy penalties
applied for Cannabis use, As time has reveled their claims to be
nothing more then a myth.
The legal profession had by now become very accustomed to the huge

pleaded guilty. The money being siphon from the solicitors guarantee

True, it matters what happens everywhere.
The only thing that bugged me about it was that it is parrotting the
idea that there is something *wrong* with hydro...

Hmmm?! I wonder . . . IF this is TRUE, the L.A. dispensaries are going
to loose my business and I better learn how to grow my own, better!
What about the rooting powder (can that harm us via the plant absorbing
it or fertilizers)????

Its not though... The issue is if you use cheap chemical fertilizers
(whether hydro or not, though its a bit worse with hydro). The issue
is that heavy metals etc build up in the plant tissue then in our
tissue.
It is becoming accepted that you really want organic whether hydro or
soil. Some are even demanding vegan hydro... Its all relative.

I wouldn't worry about it until we see some academic references. Lots of
greenhouses use hydroponics for groceries and not just in China .
